Our Story
Unleashed K9 was founded by Danny Wells with a simple mission: to provide dog owners across Liverpool and the North West with training that actually works.
Frustrated by the industry's reliance on outdated methods and one-size-fits-all approaches, Danny built Unleashed K9 around results. Every training programme is built around the individual dog, every session has clear goals and measurable progress, and every client gets honest, no-nonsense advice from day one.
Since launching in 2020, Unleashed K9 has worked with over 2,500 dogs, from reactive rescues to family pets to personal protection companions. Danny co-authored What Your Dog is Thinking with neuroscientist Dr Sabrina Cohen-Hatton, is co-presenter of the Dog Scholar Podcast, and was part of Channel 4's Death Row Dogs: Save My XL Bully documentary. Our reputation has made us one of the most sought-after dog training teams in the North West.
Based at Brandreth House Farm in St Helens, we operate from a purpose-built facility designed for real-world training. Our location provides the perfect environment for behaviour modification, obedience work, and controlled socialisation. Away from the chaos of everyday life, but close enough to simulate it when needed.
